Mom's Mimosas
For Mother’s day this year I tried to keep it simple and not go too overboard with spending a bunch on food and drinks. We decided to go to our favorite dinner that has a great menu that's vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian friendly. Silver dinner, if your in the DC VA MD area I highly recommend it!
For dessert I wanted to keep it light and vegan friendly. So I decided on Sorbet! But what a celebration without a little bubbly. So I found this quick recipe on Pintrest for Sorbet Mimosas.
Legit two steps:
Grab some Sorbet, put about 1,2,3 or 7 Scoops in a champagne flute ( I used Talenti Dairy free Sorbetto)
Top with Sparking Rose. ( I picked up My bottle from Trader Joes for $6)
Bam! ( Emeril Lagasse Voice) The Recipe I followed stated you could garnish with something cute like rosemary or something fancy. I did not although I am usually all about the garnish!
Overall this was a super quick, super easy and Super delicious treat!
